As a former ballet and contemporary dancer, Sarah was drawn to the Pilates practice to tone the finer local muscles for injury prevention and precision in movements. Sarah incorporates the Pilates practice of intentional breath to facilitate deeper connection to the core, spinal elongation, release unnecessary gripping, and increase endurance. Receiving her training in the Polestar Pilates method to bring physical therapy knowledge into movement sequences, Sarah is also NCPC (formerly PMA) certified. Sarah has a passion to encourage health and fitness to people of all experiences in her life through Pilates. Her desire is to continue learning how correct alignment in movement can bring health to the body’s joints, muscles and organs. Sarah is thrilled to be a part of the Swell Studio team.
